So basically, units that delivered in late February onwards have the new firmware which is not compatible with firmware we previously posted in this thread. If your stereo cannot read the unit, please connect to the PC like in the tutorial link above. Then, try reconnecting to your car stereo and it should work.

If it still cannot read your unit, please list your car model / stereo model and year.

I do not have the carlink interface to be connected to the PC, however I tried to connect to a PC with Android operating system and the device was recognized via the Wired connection and also by associating the Bluetooth.

I then tried to connect the device to another friend's car (Renault Captur) and the device was recognized immediately and it worked Android auto.

I then connected again to my car and it does not work, the recognition phase does not end (I sent a video in which I show the connection attempt).

My car is a toyota yaris cross year 2021/2022.

Also I can add that I had bought two carbotics devices and neither of them work.

Please confirm that the latest firmware update fixed the issue. Do you have any tips?

The solution to my problem was to rewrite the latest firmware available.

The solution was possible because I used the device on another car on which it has always worked. I advise everyone not to give up and try the solutions found on this forum.

@angelo88

Ho copiato l'ultimo firmware che si chiama AMP88 su una scheda sd.

Ho collegato il carbotics al l'autoradio di una Captur non ultima versione.

Ho cliccato Si alla richiesta di aggiornamento ed atteso che la completasse.

ciao

@ angelo88

I copied the latest firmware which is called AMP88 to an sd card.

I connected the carbotics to the car radio of a Captur not the latest version.

I clicked Yes to the update request and waited for it to complete.

Lo devi lasciare così come lo scarichi, se ricordo bene era un file zip (il link lo trovi qui nel forum).

La sd l'ho formattata in fat32

Ricordati che se hai l'ultima versione devi usare il firmware APM888

@ angelo88

You have to leave it as you download it, if I remember correctly it is a zip file (the link can be found here in the forum).

I formatted the sd in fat32

Remember that if you have the latest version you must use the APM888 firmware

@bobohood if your unit is working fine already, then there is no need to update now. We'll let you know if/when we release another fw version. Thanks!
