Hi Anonymous, don't know what happened. Please try it in another/friends car (with different screen resolution). This is the best way to reset the screen and to try it again.

Second suggestion (you probably tried that already): Switch the head unit screen to another source and then back to CarPlay to "wake up" your head unit. Happened to me one time (not reproducible).

Bye for now  Fred

hello!

the problem was solved with the update, now everything works fine, I only had a problem logging in because the system asked me for the password that I had not set, I then found out that Carbotics blocked the startup by asking for the password of my Google mail account (I suggest to report it in the manual). Carbotics is an excellent device especially for those like me who have an electric car because it can install all the applications dedicated to this type of vehicles and have them comfortably on the on-board display without having to interact with your mobile phone.

Great Carbotics!

Anonymus, thanks for your feedback. I'm sure your findings will be noted in the next readme.txt and a revised manual.

To all having screen problems: The quality control is quite good, didn't hear about a failed unit until now. Please try again following the suggestions below.

Startup your head unit. Now connect Carbotics and watch the LEDs. First startup can really take a while, please be super patient (if it takes longer than 5 minutes start to get nervous, after 10 minutes you might skip in this car). After bootup the red LED should be on all the time, the blue one should slowly blink. That's a sign that the startup was ok. If there is still no picture on your head unit please proceed with the next step.

Try to connect to another head unit (friends car) which works with wired Apple CarPlay. If it starts up successfully the problem is with the connection between Carbotics and your head unit. Please report back.

Some of the users here found out that sometimes an update can fix connection problems. You might try, descriptions are here on the forum. Good luck.

Bye for now  Fred
